Well we have had some bad weather lately in the Carolina's and it has sucked. But last weekend I headed to Raleigh to make something happen in the cold and rainy days. The rain held out long enough for us to skate Roughneck Nick's Ramp on friday night. It is not complete yet due to the fact that he has to move. The ramp was wet, slick, soggy, and no top layer yet but we made the best of it and had a blast. Thanks Nick for letting us come skate the ramp before you have to move it to its new location. ENJOY!!!

EASY BGP'S aka Back Ground Props

First thing is your at a spot that no one wants to skate or can't skate but you.

This is where the PROBLEM IS because everyone of the homies is standing around waiting on your ass to get done filming or get the photo in this case we getting both JAHEARDMEH! So after you get the shot and footy you tell all the homies to get in the next shot y'all bout to get some BGP'S, this way they don't feel left out and sometimes you even got to throw in the homies that aren't around like Justin Brock's finger. This way when you get finished and roll to the next spot everyone is feeling good and ready to skate some more and they forgot about standing around in the cold watching you kill it, while wishing they were at a spot they wanted to skate. This is how you handle yours.

So Justin finally came back to the dirty south and when he did me and the Pickle Brothers decide to throw him a party for turning PRO. It was a raging good day and night with plenty of beers, food, and none stop skating. BIG THANKS to the Pickle Brothers for letting us all throw down at the ramp. I setup and shot one photo the first photo in the series of Justin, the rest of time I was either caught up in the ramp session or running around shooting photos with my G10 point and shoot. It was definitely a good time, enjoy the pics and THANKS to everyone who came out. ENJOY!!!!!

HOW TO GET YOUR WEEKEND RIGHT

FIRST thing when you wake up Saturday Morning around 12 you find all the clean clothes you got left in the floor and you get dressed then you go straight to the fridge and make whatever concoction you can come up with to get your grub on. To wash it all down with you need a I_CE_HOES_aka ICEHOUSE TallBoy.

SECOND thing you hit the laundry mat to do some clothes. But never waste the money on drying them there. All you need is a couple of trees and all the busted ass shoe laces out of your old shoes and you just tie them together and there you go clothes line. We try our best to keep it GREEN at the STABBIN CABIN.

THRID thing since your belly is full and you got some work out of the way its time to get your skate on. So you head to your local ledge spot and get your practice on and skate with the dudes and drink all the adult beverages you can while killing it.

FOURTH thing after a long day of putting in so much work you catch a nap at the spot while the rest of the dudes continue to skate and drink. And you dream about tomorrow.

FIFTH thing Its Sunday wake up lace up the boots and kill it.

Durham Park

The New Durham Park is fully open and and ready to ride. But I'll just throw this out there you might want to wait a month or two before going because is full of little kids that have no park edict. Just give it a little time to let the new wear off. Here's a couple of photos I shot before the park was complete of Tom Hyson skating the parks version of the satellite dish. Sorry for no new updates in awhile been hella busy with work and traveling for photo shoots and getting ready for the photo show next friday in Raleigh at Endless Grind. So here are some photos of Scotty Moore killing it. I had the opportunity to photograph Scotty this summer for an interview for FTK magazine. So the dead line to shoot this stuff was like three days that's it and here's some of the stuff we got. Scotty is a rad human being, always good times, always killing it, super down to earth guy.
