Camel_City_Rippers

Camel City home of RJR Tobacco Company better known as Winston-Salem North Carolina has been home to many rippers in it's day such as Neal Hendrix, Brian Howard, SOTY 07 Marc Johnson to name a few.  The great thing about everyone that grow up skating in Winston not only skated street but all of them have ramp and transition skills as well, it either came from skating backyard ramps or "EV" Eastern Vert Skate Park I think that's what gave most of the skaters of this area such great style.  Still today this hasn't changed.  Here are some photos of some Camel City locals doing what they do best ripping everything in there path.  Skaters are Eric Reaves, Reuben Pickle, and Sturgil Horn. Durand is a OBX, Ruckus, Post22 Crew original he's been ripping forever. All I can say is Durand KILLS IT and if you haven't been asleep on the NC scene for the past five years you already know this by all the footage he has put down over the years filming with James Tupper over at Post22.  If you haven't seen any of this footage go checkout all the clips new and the old ones in the archives at www.post22.com right now you want be sorry you did. Anyway I shot this photo not to long ago at the Satellite this photo just got ran in this month's For The Krew if you haven't seen it go get it and if your friend has it steal it from him because there's a ton of good stuff in this issue including a write up on the Red Bull Battle Of The Shops on the Battleship in Wilmington NC in which Endless Grind took third place.

Choke_A_BITCH!!! To_Fakie_OR_Reg's

Choke A Bitch is the new name for Melon Grabs thanks to the DTE_LOC Crew.  So here's a couple of photos I shot of DTE crew members choking a bitch.  You got Justin Brock with a Backside_Choke_A_Bitch and Sturgil Horn with a classic Choke_A_ Bitch_To _Fakie.  Both of these guys are local Highway 52 lifers.  

Dumpster_Diving

Alright so the night before my bachelor party in Wilmington we all meet up in Raleigh to hangout and skate or whatever.  That night ended up being a pretty productive evening James was out filming for clips for Post 22 check it out if you don't know, Tommy was out filming for clips and what not, and I was out shooting. Needless to say we stayed out all night lighting shit up with Jed's generator rig off the back of his Impala yes I said Impala if you haven't seen this shit its definitely a site to see an Impala rolling around with a generator hanging off the back end like 3foot strapped down to a trailer hitch rack its the shit and pretty funny at that but it fucking works and that's all that matters.  So anyway last stop of the night was STATE and James said he had found this dumpster to skate so here's some snapshots of what went down at  3a.m. on a dumpster diving mission.

Joey_fucking_Jones if you don't know now you know

Joey Jones this kid fucking rips anything one of the most versatile skaters that I know around the 52 it doesn't matter to him street, pools, backyard setups good or bad, or whatever you throw at him he will skate it and get a least one trick if not many.  A few things that come to mind when someone mentions Joey are Sheila's,  Wookie Soda, Taco Bell, Purple Dungeon, Mountain Hippy, Jim Beam, Boom Whacker, Always Good Times, Great Sessions, and of course POT!!! Hope you like the photos

Pickle RAMP

Reuben,  Spencer, and Toby Pickle own this amazing backyard ramp and they have been hosting BBQ ramp jam's and building ramps their whole lives.  Not mention that they all kill it and are always willing to fire up the BBQ and slam some brews and skate.  Some of the most insane shit has gone down at this house and on this ramp, everyone in the NC knows at least one Pickle if not all of them.  Just ask Marc Johnson he grew up skating their backyard setups.  If its got the MJ seal you know its for real fools.  So here are some pics I shot not to long ago at the endless grind team BBQ ramp jam ENJOY!!!!!!
