No new posts for a little while at least until I get back sorry just been super busy. Big THANKS to Jim at Deluxe for posting up a link to the blog on there site thanks again. So here is something to checkout until I get back. One of my favorite skaters of all time Christian Hosoi and one of my all time favorite skateboard photographers J. Grant Brittain combining forces and making a beautiful photograph. You just can't go wrong with Grant's eye and Christians skating you put the two together and you get an amazing photograph. Check the new skateboard mag with A.V.E. on the cover Grant has got some awesome new photos in there from the 80's ramp jam and a shot of Chris Miller in a full pipe that is so sick it's near the back of the mag. 8_Hours_with_Justin_Brock

Justin is a 52 lifer he grew up in the MTA a small town right of the the 52. So Justin calls me one night says I'm on my way into Mount Airy from Atlanta tomorrow lets get up and shoot some stuff. I was so down because one Justin kills it and for two I haven't seen the kid in like two months I definitely wanted to hang out and catch up and hear all of his stories about being on the road they are the best. So anyway needless to say I thought maybe we would get like one maybe two photos at the most because he only had one night and it was such a limited time frame you know. But no not Justin we just keep going and going and he just kept producing more and more. So here is all the photos that went down in such a short amount of time between skating, talking, driving, smoking cigarettes, and wardrobe changes because it was hot as shit that night. It has been a blast watching this kid grow up and watching his skating progress and progress. Justin Brock heres to you brother keep doing what your doing and I can't wait to see what the future has in store for you. The first photo in this series is in the new For The Krew skate magazine go out and pick up a copy at your local skate shop Justin also has the back cover. Enjoy!!!!

Tom Hyson what can I say. That the first trick in this series is INSANE. It is the ender to his part in the Endless Grind video "Don't Make Me Bite Your Face". If you don't have this video you need it it is a must have so if your friends got it steal it from him or go to Endless and get your self a copy right now. The roll up alone is scary enough for this trick you have to haul ass and ollie up on this skinny brick wall believe me its gnarly. If you've ever seen Tom skate you know he skates fast and hard, and even though he may freak out and go a little crazy there's no denying that Tom fucking rips. Enjoy!!!

Its_Just_A_Parking_Block

But DAMN its fun and its getting killed lately. This parking block is the newest addition to Joey's ramp besides the fact that he widen the whole ramp another four feet. Here are some photos of two separate weekends back to back when the weather was nice and warm. Every time I go over there the parking block has been moved to a new spot on the ramp or everyone is talking what's going down on the block this weekend. With or without the parking block Joey's ramp is always a good time and good session. This jewel is right off the 52. Enjoy!
